Hiya

Any MNetters with experience of these nurseries in Bristol? Pooh Corner is in Redland and the other one near Ashton Gate...going to view tomorrow and quite nervous! Have a huge list of questions and feeling physically sick at thought of someone else caring for DS and him crying and me not being there for him....how can I concentrate on going back to work???

I dont know these nrseries b ut just want you to know that you will be fine - in the end!!!!

Dont choose on the basis of these visits. Ask to come in for a taster session to sit in for an hour or two while they play with DS how they will if you had left him there.

I did this by accident and actually cancelled a booking with a nursery after siting in a corner for an hour while watching unprofessional staff and absorbing a very bad smell of "stink" into my clothes - think it was damp, or pee or a combo of both!

The key is to be happy with where you choose and it makes it a bit easier to leave them while you earn the money

Thanks for that - I'm a big believer in gut instinct and funny enough, I've been drawn to the Pooh Corner one since I saw the advert in Yellow pages and its had recommendations from people. I've also got my friend who is a nanny to check out their website and hilight anything I think needs to be asked, as well as lots of other questions.....am paranoid about preparing everything as DS is so precious to me....gulps how will I cope with him in nursery!! Arggh...where's the chocolate??!!
