Fernbank Nursery in N16 anyone?

Hello,

I'm new to mumsnet but have been happily lured to start posting on as it's time for my DS to start nursery next year and I need some advice. He'll be 16 months old.

He's been offered a place at Fernbank Children's Centre Nursery in N16. I really liked it there and got a good, warm, smart feeling from the staff and the general ethos. But I have concerns for him too - He's a very active, adventurous, happy toddler, but he's very, very emotionally dependent on me. He does NOT like being left with anyone else, even my OH, and can get very upset if I am not there.

I think a nursery is a good option for him (as opposed to childminder) as he'll get lots of stimulation, which should help, but I am concerned about whether he'll get enough nurturing.

Does anyone have experience of sending their own children to Fernbank? I would love to hear!

Hey, did you guys end up sending your children to Fernbank? I've put a deposit down on it, just got calls from two other children's centres in the area who are offering spaces, including one that is near my house. I got a really good feeling from Fernbank but I don't know any parents who sent their kids there! Any advice appreciated.
