Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone knows about parent cooperatives in England (nurseries that are owned by parents who collectively employ nursery staff and contribute to the childcare themselves alongside the staff). It seems like there are quite a few but no website that documents them altogether so you can find them easily in your area. In fact, I'm not even sure they are always called 'parent cooperatives'! Sometimes they seem to be called 'childcare cooperatives' or 'parent-led childcare'.
If anyone knows about one of these types of nurseries, or knows where I can find more information online about them, I would really appreciate it.
