3.5 YO hates summer club

DS has been two mornings this week and it's at the nursery he's been to since January and has been happy there. But it's summer club so it's all different kids, different structure and I think some different staff to cover holidays etc. The last two days have been awful, crying begging not to go, pinching and pushing other children, absolute meltdown with my parents, hitting them and having a half hour tantrum. Should I not bother with the rest of the sessions (provisionally booked two mornings a week for the next 3 weeks, which needs to be paid for by Friday) or let him get used to it? On the one hand I don't want to traumatise him but on the other I feel it's important to not totally shield them from adversity but help them through it. I just need some advice on how to help him through. TIA

Is it childcare so you can work?

If not I'd just pull him out.

He's only 3.

There is no real advantage to pushing this.

Send him back in the autumn when it's back to normal.

Yeah it's on my work days but I could probably find a suitable alternative
