nursey wants DS to dress as pixie........help

okay being to busy i put his nursries info on chritsmas in my to do list. when i went to drop hom off this morning they asked if i had his pixie costume (???) okay i need to get one ready for this friday, how & where do i start?? DS IS 21mths old

2 large squares of green felt or other non fray material
sew at outside corners leaving a hole for his head to fit through.
Cut pointy hem
wear over red/green/bklack top and trousers
Fasten round waist with ribbon.
Find a cheap christmassy pointy hat from a shop!

I suggest (if you have them):

plain red or green trousers
plain red or green long-sleeved t-shirt

(preferably not matching)
(other bright contrasting colours would do e.g. blue and orange or purple and yellow)

Wear t-shirt over trousers, not tucked in.

Add black or coloured belt round waist (i.e. over t-shirt) -- if this were me I'd buy some felt, cut it to a belt width and suitable length, and use velcro to fasten it at the back, then make a belt buckle out of cardboard covered in silver foil and glue or stitch that on at the front.

Feet - suggest either brightly-coloured socks to complement rest of costume or if he has plain coloured wellies put him in those (and possibly glue zigzap trim cut out of felt round the top if you can be bothered)

Possibly add santa hat in his size (possible tweak: cover white fur with zigzap trim cut out of felt and/or replace pompom with a bell)
