Nurseries in Croydon

I wanted to ask, because I am getting confusing information, when do you register your child for nursery?
My child is only 3 weeks old but I have been told I have to start thinking about this now. To that end, does anyone have any views on nurseries in the Croydon area?

If you are talking about going back to work after ml then yes you probably need to register. If for 2 1/2 - 3 probably not for another year or so.
