Is it costume to buy presents for xmas to give the staff looking after your child? Just cards? If yes, what sort of price range? I was thinking maybe a card and a box of chocolates, but they probably get loads of those....

When DD was at nursery I would buy a gift card from a place like World Vision (often choosing a learning/child related gift). I would also buy a gift for the nursery, such as books or a toy. I didn't buy for individual nursery staff as they all looked after DD, not just one and no keyworker system as such.

We do get lots of chocloate at Christmas, but then again, you can never have too much chocolate!
