Hi! I have got space for my 1 1/2 years old boy at this nursery in wimbledon. Does anyone know anything about the nursery? I have tried to find some reviews on the internet but have not found anything. Thank you!

Hello again. I had a little look at their website and it does look nice. The only thing that caught my eye was the opening times and the fact that they close over Christmas-new year. It closes at lunchtime on Fridays which would be a nightmare for working parents I think. And also having to cover all the days over the Christmas holidays might be tricky. But if those things don't worry you then it does look very nice. Hope that's helpful?

Hi ScottishDiblet thank you very much for spending some of your time to look at it. Yes it looks nice and the Friday hours are not the best... I wont be working for a while there, I will focus on studying so I dont think it will be a big problem. The christmas/ new years week is ok cause we provably go home to be with our family. Well, thank you again. I will arrange a visit there for sure. Smile

I agree with Scottish the Fridays would be the big worry especially for working parents or those intending to work later on. Most nurseries close for a week over the Christmas period so that is fine.

Never heard of this nursery but upon reading it seems like a good nursery however most nursery websites look good and say the things you want to hear along with bright colours and pictures. The best thing is too look around and see how it feels. Maybe go around the 4:30-5 and speak to some of the current parents collecting their children and see what they think.

pckd 79, I was wondering what were your impressions of the nursery. I presume you child has started there so would be very interested to hear what you think. I visited them during the open morning but there were no children there at the time so hard to tell. Also I know that they now only take from 2 years old onward. I am looking for nursery in Wimbledon too.
