Questions to ask nursery

I am going with DS to settling in day at nursery (just one hour and I leave him for half of that) in a couple of weeks and although I'm sure I have a thousand questions I'm drawing a blank when I try to write a list, mainly because I'm starting to dread it. He will be 11 months when he starts properly after 5 settling in sessions over two weeks. Aside from the practical (I know I have to take nappies etc) what else should I be asking? I'm thinking along the lines of how they deal with certain situations, how they follow each child's routine etc (they assure me they do but I know how hard it must be and DS needs a lot of intervention to nap!)

That should all be covered in a questionnaire. Ask about security - I.e. Are doors pin protected, also how set-up will be like will there be a key worker for your child, or will they all take a turn.
