What is your nursery's policy on this? We've only been there a week and he's caught it. Tomorrow will be his 4th day of infection. I don't know what they're going to say.

is it being treated? There isn't a required exclusion period.

Ours will take them as long as they have had treatment for 24hrs. This is NHS Scotland guidance they follow. I don't think they were thrilled about taking DD when she had it though.

Mine will taken them if they are being treated had to have an argument with the practice nurse to get the drops prescribed as the advice is to let it clear by itself but told her is she didn't have the drops she couldn't go to nursery and I couldn't go to work.
If they are over two can get them over the counter from a pharmacy

Thank you for your replies. They took him thankfully and I was able to get a doctors appointment and some drops. I now have it too though annoyingly.

Ours will also take them if it's being treated.
