Going to see a nursery tomorrow

What top tips can you give on what I should be looking out for?

My LO will be 1 when I want him to start there.

It shouldn't be too clean. Unless it's newly opened.

Whether the children there are happy and how the staff are interacting with them.

Nurturing and loving are hard to describe but I'd have to agree with "gut feel"
