Im looking for a nursery for my little boy who is 3 years old, up until now I have been on a career break from work, but feel the time is right for both of us to 'get back to reality'!!! Does anyone have a child of similar age at a nursery in or around the Holloway / Highbury Corner area? Been to visit a few (Kids Unlimited, Little Angels, Paradise Park) but would be interested on other mums views? Just want my little boy to be happy, scary time for me!!!!

Thanks

No personal experience, but I heard the Margaret MacMillan one on Hornsey Rise is meant to be good (but just from local hearsay as I visit the area a lot, no firsthand or even secondhand knowledge, but it might be worth a look).

The Early Years Centres do have long waiting lists but the nursery at Willow Children's Centre on Tufnel Park Rd (by Holloway Odeon) looks amazing. My son goes to Bemerton, just off Caledonian Road and that's brilliant too. It has outstanding Ofsted status and the staff are lovely.

Thanks Elfin & Havingkittens!! I'd love him to go to Willow, it is lovely.......waiting list is stupidly long, my friend had her daughters name down from 3 months, got offered a place at 2yrs old!!! Also I dont actually live in the area anymore (just work!!).....local residents have priority (rightly so). I have found a nursery (Mount Carmel, Holloway Rd).......settling in sessions start on Monday, so fingers crossed?!
