Government funded playgroup/pre school?

Can anyone tell me if my child will be entitled to some free (ie government funded) hours at a playgroup/preschool at any point?
Am I right in thinking they get something like 15 hours free once they hit aged two?

Income based or equal based JSA
CTC or WTC and have an annual income of no more than £16190

I just opened the letter coincidentally.

It doesn't start until the term after they turn 2 though. My child was 2 in January but funding doesn't start until April.

you have to qualify to get funding from age 2 whereas they all get funded sessions from the term after the turn 3

Otherwise it is the term after they turn 3.

www.gov.uk/free-early-education - tells you what you need for funding from age 2

I run a playgroup for 2/3 year olds. Does anyone know of any funding available to help towards running costs or is it possible to apply for gov funding?
