Nursery being slow to return my bond

I gave 6 weeks notice that my daughter was leaving nursery & requested my bond back. I asked again on the day she left and was told someone would ring me. Noone did. That was a week ago. I phoned up today & was told they'd phone me back in 5 minutes. They never did. They were so quick to take my money but are being very slow to return it , and I've just had to pay £130 to secure a place at the school nursery as well. What can I do now?

If you write a letter or send an email I think they are legally obliged to answer it. You will also have proof of request. Put in the letter the dates and who you spoke to previously. Give them a date that they must give you the money by. It might stir them into action.

Is there a time limit for returned deposits on your contract?

I don't remember

It should be on your contract.
