What will DS need?

Hello,

I'm heading back to work in a few weeks and DS will be starting nursery two days a week. He'll also be spending a day with my mum (but at our home).

I'd be really grateful for any advice on what I can do to smooth the transition process, especially with regard to getting the practical things ready in advance; will DS need a backpack/spare clothes... Should I label these etc? I know he needs his milk, nappies etc, but is there anything else I can do to ease things for us all?

I'm a bit of a planner and far happier whence done as much as I can in advance!!

Thanks Grin

My DD started nursery yesterday - she loves it already! Like you I'm a planner. I got sticky name labels printed (couple of quid on eBay) for her sun cream, calpol etc. I bought extra sippy cups to send with her but at her settling in sessions they'd already got all that stuff ready & labeled with her name for her. They provide everything so check what you do/don't need to send.
They asked for photos of all the important people to make a little book up for her to look at if she's sad so I spent yesterday sorting that out.
They've asked for 2 changes of clothes, sun hat & coat to be left everyday. I've only labelled her good stuff, coat etc as I can't be bothered to do everything.
