Preparing For Nursery

Hi

I have a 9 week old who will be starting nursery in 10 weeks time. She always naps downstairs , rather than in her bedroom. Is this going to be a problem when she starts nursery, where they will expect them to nap in a room on their own?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Try not to worry Dennya! As Happymumof2 said, most nurseries provide a seperate room for the children to sleep in, although some don't and sleeping/playing is done in the same room.

Once your lo gets used to it, I'm sure she will be fine but I also agree about preparing her for noises etc.

If you're really concerned, speak to your key worker or the nursery manager and see what they say, or go and have another look around the nursery to put your mind at rest.

Good luck!
