My big girl is finishing nursery today, ready to start school on 5th September.

She started at this nursery 2 years ago, having been at a different nursery for the previous 2 years (moved when I changed jobs). She has loved it there and made so many friends. Have been really happy with the place and feel quite sad at this end of an era thing.

She has gone in all excited today with a home made card for the staff, and a big box of chocolates for them to share. And she has taken in a present for the nursery itself - a parachute and some skipping elastics. They spend a lot of time outside so she felt these were good ideas.

They apparantly sing "Happy Last Day to you" to their leavers and give them cards, and generally make a bit of a fuss of them

My baby is growing up!
