Starting a new nursery

My 2 year old started a nursery in October he loves it, but since he has been there, there have been a few issues, also I have just found out I am entitled to free child care, my nursery isn't funding so I'm moving my son tomorrow to a new nursery. I feel awful because I know how hard he found it at the old nursery. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not. I'm getting so upset thinking about it because he has made so many friends and I feel like a awful mummy :(

have the nursery said they don't accept 2 yr funding?
it is worth asking again as it is no different to the preschool funding
they may also have a notice period so you may be liable for a months fees

I'm sure all nurseries have to give you the funding as by law you are entitled to it

Not all nurseries have to do 2 or 3 yr old funding. It is worth asking again though.

Boris - it's up to nurseries whether they offer the 2 or 3 & 4 year old funding.
