Nursery costs in SW London...can you share some info?!

We're considering a move to SW London from elsewhere in the UK and the cost of child are is a key consideration. Would anyone be willing to share what they pay? We would be looking for 2 children to be in nursery/with a nanny or childminder for 3.5 days a week. Any info on the cost of any of these things would be much appreciated. Looking at Putney/Fulham/Shepherd's Bush or areas thereabout. Thanks!

It's around £90 per day per child in hammer smith at nursery. A nanny will be cheaper at approx £150 a day gross per family. You could find a nanny share or nanny with own child who might bring it down a little.

Our kids went to a nursery in Parsons Green / Fulham and we paid c£60per day per child and my two loved it!

They didn't go at the same time though.......

Also looking at nurseries for my first child and in Wandsworth, childcare seems to be between £60 to £75/day roughly.

Putney is roughly £80-90 per day

Richmond £80-£90 a day for nursery, maybe £70 for a childminder. For two preschoolers, a nanny is cheapest option at £120-£150 per day

Wandsworth between 65 and 100 per day ime, per child depending on age of child. There are some cheaper places but tend to be away from the main centres and not great facilities. Have also had a couple of nannies over the last 5 years. Currently paying around £120/day gross which is relatively inexpensive for round here - have paid more in the past.

Shepherds Bush around £70 per day. £7 an hour for a childminder.

I'm looking at a nursery in Hammersmith that is about £50 per day or £1000 per month

In surbiton it's about £7ph for a childminder, or £80 per day for nursery. Good luck!
