The two scenarios are:

  1. send my child to local village nursery, then on to local primary school

  2. send my child to private nursery at private school, then on to local primary school

Do you think she'd get a better start at a private nursery. Do you think there would be other parents doing to same, or would my child be the only one going on to state primary (I wouldn't want her to feel left out).

Just a few thoughts going through my mind, got ages to decide yet, but anyone have similar experiences?

I would go and visit both of them and see which feels right for you and your DD. You can then ask any questions you have as well.
