Dd starts nursery tomorrow...I'm terrified!

My dd has her nursery induction tomorrow. She is two and a half and never been left with strangers before. She has met her key worker and likes her. She seems to understand I'm leaving her and will pick her up later but terrified we will get there tomorrow , she'll panic and cry and I'll leave a sobbing wreck. Was a very shy child but much much better in last few months.

Sarah, can she take a teddy/comforter with her? Children are so resilient and us Mummy's are more upset.

Hope she is ok and more so you. X

She will be ok I'm sure. Much better to let her get used to it now rather than go straight into school at 4/5 years.

You can ring them to find out how she is getting on and put your mind at rest, they won't mind.

Good luck!
