I discussed with a local school about running a Nursery in their grounds

I did loads of work - a proposal (outline) and lots of research

They have said we will talk about it in Sept

Unfortunatley there will be a nursery opening in the next village in Sept next year - so unless I open in Jan 07 - there would be no point as the other nursery will be gov funded

If they wait til Sept it will be too late

I am really sad about it & feel so frustrated and down - which is quite selfish

Are you sure it will be too late? Anything you can do between now and Sept?

Katymac · 22/07/2006 22:58

No planning wil take about 8 weeks and the portacabin will take 6-8 weeks
even if they agree at the end of Sept I haven't got enough time to open

It's such a shame

Hi, Katymac. Are they dead set on September to discuss it? Can they not meet you out of term time for something so important?

Katymac · 22/07/2006 23:12

Nope & I think they realise it won't happen

It's sad 'cos if they don't get their reception numbers up - the school will eventually close
