So my 1yo comes home pretty much every day from nursery in different clothes than what I put on him the morning. He plays outside and gets dirty/wet and changed. And that's ok and normal. But then I come to wash the laundry and his trousers and socks are soaked in water and mud and actually on his baby grow, which is originally white, is all brown/grey on the bum from the water/mud. I don't know what he's doing, sitting in a puddle to get that wet??? I don't care about the washing, at all, but I do worry how long does he sit in this wet drenched muddy clothes, in the outside cold, before he gets changed in clean dry ones?
What are your experiences? Is this level of wet/dirty on a daily basis normal? Should I be asking nursery about it or not worth it? We love the nursery and they are great so don't want to raise an issue if this is actually normal?
