When did you put your child on WL for nursery?

Ds is 9 months old. I would like him to start nursery at 2.5 years old. When should I put his name down on some places?

Put his name down now! The school/nursery my 2 older DSs are in told me to put DS3s name down before the summer holidays. He was only 7 months old at the time. They said their spaces are filling up quick so best to get him on the WL ASAP. They have the 2 year nursery and the 3 year nursery there so I've put his name down for both
