Early Years Funding

Hi does anyone know if there have been changes to the early years funding recently.

My daughter isn't 5 until boxing day and as she is starting an independant school I was under the impression that her nursery funding would continue. I know this has been a thread previously but I need to find out what the policy is as of now. The school tell me the LEA have told them it's been changed.

Anyone had recent experience of this?

If she's going to be 5 within the school year I can't imagine that early years funding would continue tbh. Why not just ring your local authority?!

dd got it for 3 terms in reception (Aug bday) but the school has to fulfil certain criteria such as be open for a minimum number of weeks each academic year, be Ofsted inspected , follow NC/EY etc and it may well be that yours doesn't. dd was in reception 8 years ago and even then it was in the balance each year whether they'd qualify.
