keeping child off nursery/childminder

how long is a child supposed to stay off nursery or childminder if they have chickenpox? tia

DD only stayed home 3 days (weekend in between though). she went back when they had all crusted over.

I think the advice is now 5 days

it is usually 5 days after the last spot crusted over. but you need to see the exclusion policy as the nursery may have a different exclusion period.
