Been to some nurseries and now looking at childminders for comparison. Not sure what to ask though - any tips?

PS - my DD will be 10/11 months old and going 4 days a week 9-5pm.

Thanks :)

Do you go to any toddler groups?
Where do the babies nap?
What sort of meals do you make or do.I.need to send food?
Snacks - are they provided?
Can I see your up to date First Aid certificate?

I would recommend meeting them when they have other minded children around and also possibly when they aren't 'working' so that you can chat in more depth if needed.
I am a childminder and have had all sorts of questions asked of me!
As well as asking the childminder questions be prepared for them to ask you so that he/she can get to know a bit more about what you are looking for and about your family and your dd's routines, likes, dislikes etc.
