Nursery/Montessori in Stanmore

Hi, we are moving to Stanmore soon and I am looking for a daycare/montessori place for my nearly 2-year old daughter. I have looked at Boys and Girls and although they are lovely, they are also full up. As are Stanmore Montessori, Bubar nursery and AppleTree daycare Does anyone know of other nice places to take a 19-month-old to? My older daughter goes to NLCS so it would be nice to find a place that is not logistically impossible to get to from there ... but that's probably wishful thinking Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... thanks

I some stude nts from Whizz kids and the parents say great things about the nursery although have no personal experience. I think it's in mill hill, would that be too far?

As mentioned by one of the ladies above, Stanmore Montessori is a big joke! They are under staffed most of the times as it's seems more like a biz run for friends and family by friends and family. My little one is clingy and this was told to the key person, yet they refused to settle my little one in. They asked me to help them settle him. I stayed at the Montessori for 5 months with my child. Entertaining my child and few others. Wondered what I paid them for. They are not flexible and very money minded. I met another parent who spent a year there trying to settle her little one.

On requesting them to let me go they said your child is strong headed. Which he might be, but it's their job to deal with children to settle in. That's what they get paid for.

Anyway I discontinued the Montessori and started a nursery immediately . Taken by surprise he settled in within a week. 😀
