Hello, I was hoping this scheme sounded familiar to somebody out there who has a clue about what to do with an e-voucher.

I am now back at work part time an my employer use this scheme. I have applied for the vouchers and have checked my online account and there is a balance showing as a months child are fees (which I assume is promising). But do I then have to forward this to my Dds nursery or anything or is this done automatically?!

If I need to do anything would you please be so kind to as to reply with some sort of idiots guide for me as I am totally clueless?!

Thanks in advance! Smile

Hi there, my work uses Computershare too. You have to phone them up and arrange for the payment to be made to your nursery. I didn't realise this (and they didn't explain it when I signed up). But one phone call and it was all sorted and the payments happen automatically now. It wasn't clear though and it's all a bit confusing at first!

Aw thanks for that. So do I phone computershare, my nursery or employer?! So far all I've had is an Internet address given to me and told to sign up for them so I've not had chance to speak to anyone about how it works at all?! You're right, very confusing!!

Just give Computershare a call. Have your nursery name and address ready and they'll find it on their system (it'll have a unique number). They'll arrange the payment - your nursery don't have to do anything (assuming they are signed up with Computershare).

Thank you!! I spoke to them this morning and it's all sorted now Smile really appreciate the help!!

Thank you for this thread, I'm just about to go back to work and my employer uses Computershare too and I was equally confused about how to use it!

Can I add a really dense question? Once the nursery has been paid from my Computershare account, how does the balance get paid--does the nursery send a new invoice or am I expected to calculate what balance remains and I then send a payment?

Hi eggnut, only just seen your post. Your salary is deducted and money is moved into your Computershare account on a day nominated by you (mine comes in a day or two before I am paid). It then leaves your account to go to the nursery, again on a day of the month decided by you (mine is a couple of days after I get paid). So your 'account' shows monies coming in and going out, but you don't really have to do anything. So no invoicing. Hope this helps.

Should add that this is if you have chosen the electronic payments. Otherwise they send you vouchers that you can physically give your nursery.
