Hi,

Am looking at nurseries for my 15 month baby and wondered if anyone has recent experience of this one? It has places in a couple of months, whereas my first-choice nursery (Bath House) has a waiting list of at least a year.

I would highly reccomend them. My son has just left Independent Place as we moved out of Hackney. It broke my heart to take him out of there, he was really happy there and had made so many friends. He attended 3 days a week from the age of 13 months to just over two years and so was in the 1-2 years room and then the 2 years+ room. His key workers in both rooms were fantastic and I always felt he was really loved and looked after. All staff were really friendly and great to deal with and the manager Alison is very organised and much better at communicating with you than other nurseries I've come across, so organising extra days / changes in payments etc was never a hassle. His year with Independent Place has been such an important part of his development and I hope if you go with it it works out for your little one.
