How much sickness is normal?!

DS has been in nursery for 4 months and had about 25% of the time off with various bugs.
So, is this to be expected and will it get better? Poor DS has had chest infection, tonsilitis, hand foot and mouth, an ear infections and a constant runny nose...

Considering reducing my hours at work as our AL is being taken up with all the sickness (and we need our holidays!)

Its normal.

Ds has had loads since he started nursery, before that he barely had a cold.

All those kids/snotty noses/ etc is bound to go round quickly.

It should settle down after a while once they build up their immune system!

Very normal. Both of mine were basically ill from about eleven months to twenty four months- then they settled and now are only ill two or three times a year. We call it one-itis! X

Normal! get it out the way now and hopefully by the time has been there for about a year he will be fine for the majority of his school life.
