Nappy Rash at Nursey

Hi, my DD is 8.5 months and started Nursery 2 weeks ago as I have to go back to work. She has developed horrible Nappy Rash which only clears up when I get to treat it at the weekend. I have asked them to use Bepanthan and change her as soon as neccessary but I'm still not happy as when she goes back it starts again. Has anyone else had to deal with this situation? They use different nappies and wipes to us, have you asked them to use yours?

I find metanium works really well for us and tends to stay on between changes.
I will be honest and say that when dd gets (luckily minor) nappy rash it is always from nursery. I suppose it is inevitable that with serveral children in the room it might be a while longer than at home before the source of the pong is dealt with
Definitely ask them to use your own wipes, and take in some metanium for her.

Hi, since my baby was born (she is 6 months old now)I have left her every day for at least one hour on a waterproof mat without a nappy. She has now started nursery and I still do the same when she arrives at home. She plays on the floor without a nappy. She turns so i do have to check on her making sure she stays on the waterproof mat. And she never had nappy rash. I use as well washable nappies and Pampers sensitive.(SO DO THE NURSERY!)
