Hi
Starting to look for a nursery place in Aberdeen city centre. Looking for other people's experiences good & bad.

Thanks

How city centre are you looking? I'm not in Aberdeen anymore, but I can recommend Jumpin Jacks(?) on Great Western Road. My BFs daughters are there and they love it. I've been in a few times and the children all seem to be really happy. It's a bit out of the City Centre though and you may have to negotiate The Drive in rush hour to get there!

Have you tried posting on the Aberdeen Local board? I think they get a lot of traffic, where this thread may drop off the radar quite quickly.

I would also look on the Aberdeen babycentre board and netmums noticeboard (am I allowed to say that here?!) as they both have very popular NE Scotland/Aberdeen boards. There are lots of city centre nurseries so depends on which area, what opening hours you need, their last Inspection report (these are available online) and also, how long their waiting lists are or who has places available on the days you need. Nurseries in Aberdeen are expensive (£45+ a day is common but some include nappies for that price).
