Hi there, any advice on nurseries in the Churchfield Road area of Acton W3 would be appreciated. Planning to move back to London and just looking for options on childcare.

No up to date advice I'm afraid, but I used to live just across the High Street in Berrymead Gardens so couldn't resist saying Hi!

Ds1 used a nursery about a mile away up Shepherds Bush / Uxbridge Road, just past the park. Hang on I'll have a look and see if it's still there as it was lovely. Was recommended as the BBC Worldwide staff nursery too.

Hhm, doesn't seem to be there anymore. Sorry, not much use I'm afraid. Enjoy Acton anyway!

I live just off Churchfield Road and we are lucky to have some good and outstanding nurseries near us.

There is Maples which is on Churchfield Road just by the station along from Acton Park.
There is Hungry Caterpillar at John Perryn School just of the A40 ( Long Drive)

There are loads in the Acton area. These are the ones we used. Both are very good. Maples is term time only and Hungry Caterpillar is private.

Good Luck...
PS Churchfield Road is now a lovely thriving little haven... We love it Grin

Not sure if too far away for you, but my DS is at Buttercups in Ealing and is very happy there.

And my 21 month old has been at Buttercups in Acton since 14months old and loves it. They have a lovely baby room with conservatory and outside area.
