A friend is moving from here (inland Andalucia) to the Costa del Sol area (Marbella) and wants to know if there are any Mother and Toddler Groups set up there.

Any of the Spanish resident gang know the answer to this one??

¡Hola! Don't know of any but if you go on to:
www.babycentre.co.uk (you need to register a log in name and password like this site) and then click on communities, scroll down to the last section of forums and there is one specifically for Spanish parents/ people living in Spain. I'm sure you'll get an answer there or someone will point you in the right dirrection as there are lots of regulars there you live in Spain.

Did you find anything out?

Sorry only just seen this there are a few mother and toddler groups about, more in fuengirola. She could try looking in he local expat paper surinenglish.com If she would like she can cat me, will have a look and see what I can find. To be honest mother and toddler groups arent that common here. If you let me know how old her child is and what she's looking for in a nursery I can recommend a few.

Hi Lucy

I think she is just looking for a toddler and mother group actually. I'll suggest Sur to her - it's tricky to get up here but should be easier on the coast. Her daughter is nearly 18m.
