Does anyone just sense their child to nursery for one day a week? Is it ok or is it a bit disjointed for them?

I work in a day nursery and we have a few 1 day kids. If they are easy going it is fine, if they are easily upset or clingy it can be a problem as they inevitably catch something the first few weeks, then miss a week from bing ill and need resettling.
You know your child best.

IME some nurseries won't take children for just one day because it can be quite difficult for them to settle, they stimulate minimum of two sessions on different days.

Also, in addition to temperament as inmysparetime saya it can also depend how old dc is as to how well 1 day a week works.

When my dd2 started nursery last September (2.5yo then) she went one morning a week. I think that it was enough for her at that age. And she enjoyed going.

February half term she changed to 3 sessions a week.

And next week she is going back into 4 days a week.
