Is there a 'good nurseries guide', either online or in print?

Or any useful starting point for finding nurseries in the area we're moving to?

Hi franch

Familiesonline.co.uk is a good place to start, and there is a free magazine called FamiliesSW, from which the website grew - you can get it in any library in SW London. It covers toddler groups and all kids' activities, too - it's been my bible since ds was born, eleven years ago.

franch,

Have a look at www.nurserysearch.co.uk - should give you a good base to start from!

You can also look up OFSTED reports on that site. You have to input your postcode and it will give you a list of nurseries within a certain radius. Just scroll down to see if the nursery has an up to date report. Nurseries now have to let parents know (if they request the information) if any complaints have been registered against them.
