Nurseries in Hackney

Hi, I have a 17 month old boy who stays with a great childminder in Hackney two days a week whilst I'm at work but I'm keen to get him socialising with more children in a nursery. I'm on a (v long) waiting list for Ann Taylor, which I love but can anyone recommend anywhere else? Am keen for somewhere with good outside space if possible and in Hackney area, thanks.

We go to the Montessori on the Park which is near St Mark's Gate. Both my LOs love it. Although there isn't much outside space, what they do have is well utilised and they use the park a lot. We were on a very long waiting list for Ann Taylor too and nothing ever came up - after about 2 years! We also went to the Wetherell for a while but although that is a fab building and good outside space it has suffered with lack of management.

My 22 month old DS goes to Happy Nest at Fellowes Court Community Centre, which he seems to really enjoy. It's a small SureStart place, has a fantastic outside space and the staff really interact well with the children. There's a mix of ages - tbh not sure if they've got space for under 2s but always worth visiting to see if you like it.
