Hi,
Does anyone have any info, first hand or otherwise, on nurseries in or near Chichester? In particular, I would really appreciate recommendations from mums with children in local nurseries.

is you child old enough for the chichester montissori? they start at 24 months! IMO thats by far the best
otherwise for 2 year olds oakwood school have a LOVELY nursary section from 2 years AND potty trained

the one thats on the grounds by Chichester college has a very good reputation (I THINK its 1st steps) but not 100% sure, but it IS by the college!

My DD went to ABC Nursery in Aldwick Road, Bognor Regis - don't know if that is too far out for you? I'd recommend them - DD loved her time there, they are open all year and are flexible about hours - you can choose to book in for sessions or by the hour if that suits you better (my job meant it was more convenient to have DD there from 8.45 - 11.45 than the standard session of 9 - 12 - no problem!). DD started there at 9 months for a day a week and was doing 5 sessions when she left in September.

They have a glowing OFSTED report and a huge garden to play in and do a fair few community events too - float in the local carnival, singing carols at the old folks home at Christmas.

Let me know if you want to hear more!
