Hi, we are being posted to Shrivenham with the Air Force. Can anyone tell me what the best nursery and primary school there are. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and preferably don't want their nursery/school to be too far apart. Thank you

Hi
Nearly a year has passed since you posted so I assume you are now settled into Shriv and schools. We're due to move there for september and i was after some up to date info!
Any advice on primary schools for a 5 & 7 year old? Both a year behind in their schooling due to starting (or not starting) school in Scotland.
We lived in Shriv previously so i'm familiar with the patch but it was during the baby times, i'm familiar with the schools but would like an up to date view of them if you can offer one??
Which school have you put yours in? I believe the main choice is Watchfield or Shrivenham although my boy went to the nursery at Longcot but i hear the head has changed and not so keen on accepting in Mil kids.
thanks
