Food at Nurseries

I just wondered what type of food your nursery gives to the children? My nursery seems to have a very boring and repetitive menu. Luckily, my son is a good eater & not too fussy, but even he is not eating as much as he used too...although at home he eats like a gannet. There are a number of children that are food intolerant, how is your nursery handling that?

I'm really impressed with dd's Nursery food. They have a 6 week menu plan for parents to look at. Dinner includes things like home made fish cakes, casseroles, chilli con carne etc. There seems to be lots of veg on offer too. Tea includes sandwiches or simple hot food such as beans on toast- I think this is because the staff in the rooms prepare this as the cook's gone home by then.
