Anyone else have a nursery that are not sure what to make of expressed milk? Any tips or advice?

my nursery were fab with it - perhaps becase on of the ladies working in the baby room was breastfeeding her baby and expressing for her. There's quite a useful info leaflet for this on the kellymom site somewhere if you search for it

What are there issues with it?

I work in a nursery, when we have had parents bring in expressed milk it has been fine, a couple parents brought it in frozen to be used that day in little sachets i am sure it had written on them 'my mummys milk'

Or in expressed jars, that we kept in the fridge. Are you wanting to use a cup or a bottle, your nursery should accomadate you and your babies needs

for 6 months i supplied expressed milk in bottles ready to be warmed. bottles (and lids) clearly labeled with name stickers. i kept up a constant dialogue with his key worker about how much he was drinking at what times and adjusted what i took in accordingly. they washed and steralised the bottles each day. never had any issues with this. hope that helps!
