Hey guys
Im currently looking for a day nursery for my one year old son in chiswick/brentford.
Iv been searching for reviews on nurseries but cannot find many at all, i need to know that the nurseries are suitable as my close friend works in a nursery and has told me many worrying things (rats, kids being given food thats been sitting in a turned off fridge). This is my first child and i need somewhere that im going to feel comftable leaving him or i will spend all day worrying.
Last minute as he will need to start in january...
Can anyone give me any feedback, recomendations, or advice not to attend a nursery
would be much appriciate as i am really getting stressed about finding somewhere suitable.
Also do you think my son would benefit more from a childminder?
Thanks
Beth

hi you have many local nurseries to you in chiswick but this is also a very expensive part of london. you have blue girafee)nr to stamford brrook so maybe a bit far for you) two buttercup nurseries in chiswick and also tictoc and playdays nr chiswick high rd so quite a large choice but i think all have waiting lists too, avoid teddies chiswick like the plague hth

Devonshire day nursery is popular with some families I know.

I also know families who are happy with Teddies.

Best thing to do is to start visiting them. Once you have seen a few, you will get a feel for what you like and what is important to you.

Have you tried posting for info on W4 forum too?
