hi serious, i posted recently because i wanted to find out what people thought about a nursery in buckden, a village a few miles outside of Huntingdon. No one posted, so maybe there just aren't that many mumsnetters in this corner of east anglia. i'm afraid i can't help you with nurseries actually in huntingdon - i'm moving to buckden in january. but i would love to hear what you find out - if anything! the buckden nursery, by the way, seems ok, but i must say i havent' been wildly impressed. seemed quite small and chaotic

hi jane i think ur rite i dont think many people do live in this area that use mumsnet, oh well time to start doing my own investigating

Thanks Serious, that is really helpful. I'll try the local site as well and see if any recommendations there. I spoke to Mother Goose yesterday and they seem quite nice (4 month waiting list though) and will try and call some others this week. Still waiting for our house sale to be confirmed so early days but very exciting!

i have given this up for now but would be intrested to c where u deciede to go, i heard that mother goose are opening another one on spring common, dont no if its true. clarence house in godmanchester meant to have improved vastl, also playdays are building a new one, unsure as to updated ofsted though.

Thanks again serious, will check those out too.

Hi Serious, Just to let you know that spoke to Mother Goose and they are opening a 2nd nursery on Spring Common (off St Peters Road I think) end of April - the nursery is available to view mid April. Sounds really good although I think the Priory Road one may be more convenient as we will have to get to the Railway station. Unless anyone knows of others that are closer?
