Opinions please! Is this hygenic?

I was pleased to see my DS drinking water when I collected him today (as he is a juice fiend at home).
The nursery has a water cooler with a beaker sitting underneath it. The children (3-5) push the button and help themselves to the water, which seemed great.
But... DS drinks from the cup. Then the next child drinks from the same cup, and the next.
Should I worry about passing germs around every child by doing this, or do they spread their germs enough anyway?
Opinions gratefully received!

Thats not nice, you sure they are not replacing the cup? We have a dirty cups tray that children put their dirty cups in (obviously supported by staff)

There was one open plastic drinking bottle under one tap-thingy, and a hard plastic type cup under the other.
I can see kids wouldn't find wee disposable cups easy to use, but they could lift a cup from a tray, drink from it, and put it in a dirty cup place..
I just want to get the "risk" into proportion, don't want to come across all pfb.

DD's nursery don't allow water bottles as they have noticed children "sharing" which they don't like. They have a water fountain.

The cup thing isn't hygienic. Children of that age often have colds and snotty noses.

Thank you for the replies. We were asked to supply a bottle for drinking, he does already have a bottle there!
I can see will have speak up and annoy them.. Oh dear.
This week it was my DS with the snotty nose, so I am actually thinking of other children too!
