Hi,

We are looking to start our daughter at nursery from January, we live in the NG6 area of Nottingham and are looking for recommendations.

I was interested in the Busy Bees at the city hospital which has excellent ofsted reports, however I am slightly put off by the negative reviews of the Busy Bees at Nottingham University.

Any recommendations?
Many thanks

I've been using Busy Bees at City since 2007 (DS just left to start school, DD still there) I think it's a really lovely nursery. DS is 4 and has just left - his favourite things were: Graduation, watching the new gardens going in, playing with his friends and the ladies (nursery nurses) were very kind (in his own words!)
I like the fact that the staff are obviously happy in their jobs and enjoy working with little ones, and obviously care about their charges. There has been little movement of staff in the past 3 years, so we know all the staff pretty well, and as DD has had the same key workers as DS, we've had a nice continuity of care. Staff really get to know the children and are very supportive of them
They prepared DS really well for school - sending a disposable camera and questionnaire to his school so they could preparean info booklet for him to look at (his teacher has never seen it done before)
Have got to dash as have to prepare tea, but if you have any specific questions, fire away!
