Brand new nursery opening

There's a new nursery opening in my town this month and I was wondering what the deal was with Ofsted. The nursery is listed on their website but there are no inspection reports (as it's not yet open). Anyone know if Ofsted inspect nurseries prior to them opening or how soon they do their first inspection?

They usually do it within the first 6 months, when my nursery moved site, we had a visit a couple months later.

they will do a pre-opening visit to check on premises etc then one within 6 months as cookielove says

hmm - ds's nursery opened in January this year - no inspection so far. I have no concerns, but it's always interesting to read the Ofsted report.

might be because ofsted inspections have been outsourced from sept so if due august time would have been in change over period. I believe sept was training month so i would think it would be soon
