Nurseries in Harrow

Hi everyone. I will be moving to Harrow by December, and I am looking at nurseries in the area for my three and half year old DD for three days a week, whilst I am working. DD will be going to school next year in September. I am also thinking about state nurseries attached to schools. Is it quite difficult to get such places?

Can anyone recommend a good one in the Harrow area where the staff are kind and will be lovely to my little girl!! Ideally, a nursery which is also not too far from a tube/train station. Her current nursery is fantastic, and she will also have to settle in the new one. So patient staff is also a must. Thanks

Hi Corrie, thanks for the very quick response! I will be moving to Central Harrow, and I have sent you a message via the CAT service, for details of your child minder.

We are South Harrow, I dont know if that is too far for you. S Harrow is about 10-20 mins on the bus from Harrow central. Still interested?

Hello again. Can you please let me know which nursery you daughter attends in Harrow, so I can contact them. The child minder's number would also be useful. Thanks very much.

Hi Leah4, my ds has just started nursery in Kenton. He's only been there one week so can't comment yet, but will in a few weeks

PS. Kenton is just outside central harrow, near Northwick Pk tube on the Met line and Kenton tube on the Bakerloo line.

hiya,
i also need help finding a good nursery for my son . he is 15mths at present and in a good nursery in northwood. However i need one closer to home as my work place will be changeing to london in oct. Its so hard to find somewhere that you feel comfortable leaving them, so when you see good reports your heart races, is this the one. Good childminders even!!
