Chicken Pox

DS has chicken pox so we can't take him to nursery on Monday, obviously, and will have to wait 2 weeks or whatever the nursery policy is (I'll have to check on Monday). What about DD? Do we need to make alternative arrangements for her too even though she seems fine? I don't want to be turned away from the door on Monday morning and can't ring to check in advance!

If she doesnt have it you dont have to keep her away- she may not even get it.

I think the advice is they can go back 3 days after the last spot scabs over

agree no need at all to keep DD off, could be up to 21 days till she gets it, if at all.

DS should stay off till all scabs are dried up.

Hope Ds feels better soon
