Drop in Nurserie

Does anyone know if there are drop in nurseries or childminder. My partner works shifts and therfore I will need to find a chilcare option to fit with our irregular working hours.

No such thing in my experience.

How can they possibly make a profit staffing up for potential children whose parents may or may not need them that day.
